A MAN who died in a house fire has been named by police.
Duncan Fleming, 60, was rescued together with his wife Linda, after a blaze at their home in Lavender Close, at 3.30am on Saturday.
However, he was later declared dead at The Horton Hospital.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service is investigating the cause of the blaze and whether smoke detectors were working at the time.
It is understood Mrs Fleming has since been discharged from hospital and is staying with her daughter.
