ONE of the most famous love stories ever told will be brought to life in this year’s Chipping Norton Theatre panto.

Beauty and the Beast will transport audiences back to 18th century France for the story of the ill-fated prince and how, after being turned into the terrible Beast, he gains the love of Belle.

The show promises a mixture of laughter and love, songs and lots of sweets for the audience.

There will be a total of 78 performances between November 23 and January 8.

More than 11,000 of the 16,000 seats have already been sold.

The theatre’s 2008 production of Sleeping Beauty was named one of the UK’s 10 best pantos by The Daily Telegraph.
