Police today appealed for help to trace a man in connection with a shoplifting incident in Didcot.

The man pictured was stopped by security staff as he exited the Tesco supermarket in Wallingford Road, Didcot, at 4.40pm on November 2.

The man placed ten bottles of Jack Daniel’s whiskey worth £240 in a lead-lined bag and attempted to leave the store without paying.

When he was challenged by security staff, he dropped the bag and ran away from the scene. All the property was recovered.
