A 27-year-old man has appeared in court charged with attacking a man with a metal bar in South Oxford.
Edward Potter is charged with causing GBH with intent, affray, possession of an offensive weapon and assault by beating.
The charges relate to an alleged attack on Jordan Marks in Abingdon Road on November 4.
Potter, of Abingdon Road, was remanded in custody to enter a plea on January 7.
