Long delays built up on the M40 and A34 in Oxfordshire this evening after problems with Traffic lights at the M40 junction near Wendlebury.
Traffic built up on the M40 southbound between junction nine and junction ten at the Cherwell Valley Services with travel time reported at about half an hour.
A lane is out on the roundabout at junction nine due to a problem with the phasing of the traffic lights and highways engineers are on the scene.
The traffic light problem also caused long tailbacks on the northbound A34 stretching back to the Peartree Interchange, with travel time reported to be over an hour.
