A crash between a lorry and a car early today caused delays on the A34 near Kidlington.
The serious collision happened at about 5.30am on the northbound carriageway between the Peartree interchange and the junction with the B4027, leading to the closure of the road.
The Highways Agency said the outside lane was reopened at about 8.45am, but was blocked by a second accident within the tailbacks, adding to delays.
