The stupidity of the county council never fails to amaze me, One of their latest money-saving ideas (Oxford Mail, December 11) is to close the Redbridge recycling centre in Oxford.
Have they not taken on board that it will cost a lot more to send council employees out to pick up all the rubbish that will dumped in and around Oxford because there will be nowhere to take the rubbish once Redbridge closes?
Or are they proposing to increase refuse collections?
Maybe they should terminate the employment of the idiot who came up with this suggestion?
That should save them some money.
