A man suspected of burglary has been charged and remanded in custody.
Peter Gaughan, 26, of Falcon Close, Blackbird Leys, Oxford, has been charged with burglary, aggravated theft of a vehicle, failing to provide a specimen, driving while disqualified and without insurance. The charges relate to the theft of a car in Banbury Road, which later crashed in Cutteslowe, on November 28.
Gaughan appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Monday and will appear at the city’s crown court next Monday.
