Chocolate retailer Thorntons is to close up to 180 UK stores.
It declined to say whether the nine stores and concessions in Oxfordshire would shut.
Up to 120 outlets will close as leases run out, with 60 more under threat over the next three years.
Franchisees may take over some of the shops.
