Sir – I have recently cycled through St Giles several times in the last couple of weeks.
The marvellous pyramids of flowers and hanging baskets which steadily change through the seasons provide a real pleasure.
I don’t know who is responsible for the city’s flowers, but this is a delightful example and the people concerned should be congratulated.
