FUNDRAISERS at Wallingford Vehicle Rally and Parade raised thousands of pounds for a bereavement charity and other groups in the town.
The rally, in May, raised £2,981 for SeeSaw, the Oxfordshire charity which supports bereaved children and their families.
Rally chairman Mark Brett said: “We were delighted the event raised thousands of pounds for various charities including SeeSaw.”
A cheque was handed over to Jane Elliott from SeeSaw, at a ceremony in Wallingford Town Hall which included a presentation to rally founder member Geoff Wooldridge who stepped down after eight years of fundraising.
This year almost £4,000 was raised for a number of charities, and SeeSaw has been nominated as the main charity for next year’s rally.
