THE right to protest should always be upheld. But as with many rights, those exercising them must show a degree of responsibility.

This will only result in hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of wasted taxpayers’ money and lengthy delays to what should be a much-welcomed scheme.
It almost inevitably will not save the already crumbling Temple Cowley Pools.
Many people in Oxford want to see Blackbird Leys Pool built.
Oxford deserves to see a world-class facility opened in what will be a year of sporting legacies.
To disrupt such ambitious plans to simply make a short-sighted point is utterly unacceptable.
