Two tennis coaches attempting to break the Guinness world record for the longest continuous tennis match were still going strong last night.
Ryan Trickey and Andy Aitken are trying to break the existing record of 60 hours, 59 minutes and 58 seconds, set in the United States in March, and started playing at 9am on Monday.
The pair are raising money for the Dan Maskell Tennis Trust, which supports disabled players.
Spokesman Marshall Thomas said: “They are well on course to achieve their target of playing for 72 hours, finishing at 9am on Thursday.”
