POLICE have tonight dispersed groups of people after reports of antisocial behaviour in the areas of Oxford.
A Thames Valley Police spokesman said officers had been called to Barton, Blackbird Leys and the city centre to deal with groups after complaints of antisocial behaviour.
However he added there had been no serious disorder.
The force has also had its helicopter flying over parts of the city "monitoring groups", he said.
The spokesman added: "Police are still carrying out patrols across the county.
"There has been no serious, sustained disorder."
Police said they were called to Giles Road in Littlemore at 12.15am to the vandalism of two cars by a gang of youths.
