Four people were arrested for causing criminal damage in Banbury last night.

It is thought they were linked to damage caused to a shop in the town.

Thames Valley Police also said this morning that there were 11 other arrests across the force area overnight linked to “limited outbreaks of disorder”.

Four people were arrested in Reading for burglary after breaking into a shop while five people were arrested in Milton Keynes for criminal damage and public order offences.

One person was arrested for criminal damage in High Wycombe and another was arrested for criminal damage in Slough.

So far police have not reported any arrests in Oxford, and a spokesman for South Central Ambulance said staff were not called to any disturbances in the city.

No-one from Oxfordshire Fire Service was available for comment.
