Oxford United’s match against Cardiff City will go ahead tonight, police confirmed this morning.
The U’s will play host to the Welsh side at the Kassam Stadium in the Carling Cup fixture which kicks off at 7.45pm.
Thames Valley Police said they have been in consultation with the club since reports of violence in Oxford on Monday night, and were confident the match can be policed safely.
