Work on a controversial Incinerator in Ardely will start “within weeks” Oxfordshire County Council has confirmed.
The authority has finalised arrangements so Viridor Oxfordshire Limited can begin work on building the Energy from Waste facility.
Campaign group Ardley Against Incinerator lost a High Court challenge in July and leave to appeal was refused in September.
A last ditch attempt to gain permission to appeal was rejected earlier this month.
