Sir – Last week you featured an article highlighting the wonderful news that the Shrill Production guys had penned the official song for anti-bullying week, following their amazingly successful run of Stand Tall in London.

I and I know many others would like to say a huge thank you to Lee Wyatt-Buchan, Sandy Chalmers, Aldie Charmers and Mike Dove for all the wonderful work they do with The Witchwood School Of Rock. Taking children from 7-20 yrs of age, they welcome them in, find their niche and help them grow, teaching them not only how to play the drums or guitar but also teaching them everything from how to set up a stage to how to record their music. They teach them how to write music and to develop their musical talents. But possibly more important than this, they build confidence and through constant reassurance, praise and positivity they make the kids feel good.

And it’s not just term time. When the school holidays approach there’s only one place the children want to be.

To see so many children rocking it on the stage of Fat Lil’s is just phenomenal. Suddenly Witney has a new generation of teenage rockers and middle-aged rock groupies with camcorders.

The personal and professional investment these men make in these children is just amazing and I and many many more hope they know how much it is appreciated.
