ONE lane northbound on the M40 between Junctions 8a and 9 is closed after two cars collided today.
Police were called to the incident, between a dark red Ford Focus and black Polo, at 11.15am.
A woman has been taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital by air ambulance, but her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Several others have also been taken to hospital via ambulance after being freed from their car by fire crews.
Debris is currently being cleared from the carriageway and the inside lane is expected to reopen within the next hour.
