A FLASHER who hugged a woman in the early hours of this morning is being sought by police.

The 21-year-old victim was walking home along Bullingdon Road, East Oxford, about 1.50am when a man started walking alongside her.

Feeling uncomfortable she got out her phone to call a friend, but the man then hugged her while he was exposing himself.

She managed to run away and wasn’t hurt.

The flasher is described as Asian, in his late 20s to early 30s, slim, around 5ft 9ins tall, clean shaven, with brown eyes.

He was wearing a navy blue hooded top, dark blue jeans, and rimless glasses.

PC Eleanor Batty said: “This was a distressing incident for the victim and a number of enquiries are under way to trace the man responsible.

"We are keeping an open mind about this incident, however we do not believe at this stage it is linked to any other offences.

“I would urge anyone who witnessed the incident or recognises the description of the man to contact me.”

Anyone with any information should call Pc Batty on 101 or the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
