YOUNG farmers have been snapped posing naked in fields and farmyards as part of a charity calendar.

The men from Faringdon and District Young Farmers’ Club have bared all again after last year’s ‘Boys in the Buff 2011’ calendar raised more than £1,600.

Dai Wilson, 27, of Woodend Farm in Farmoor, stars on the August page of the 2012 edition. He said: “It is a good, fun, way of raising money for charity.”

The 12 volunteers posed in a range of countryside-themed photos including milking, foraging, and even chain-sawing.

Profits will be split between the Against Breast Cancer charity and the young farmers’ club.

Runa Hansen, club chairman and the photographer behind the calendar, said: “From the positive response to our 2011 calendar, we decided to do it all over again. It is a fun way of raising large sums of money for such worthy charities.

“The guys did not need any persuasion and had their photos taken doing their everyday jobs or hobbies.”

The young farmers club is a social group for anyone with an interest in the countryside and the Faringdon branch currently has 26 members.

John Jacques, 22, from Cirencester, who posed in kennels with a pack of hunting hounds, said: “I was fine about the naked part but being around a pack of hounds at feeding time was interesting.

“But after the success of they had last year I was happy to help out.”

Group vice-chairman Pippa Burr said: “Lots of people buy them as Christmas presents.

The black and white calendar costs £5 from Witney Farm Supplies, Burford Newsagents, Burford Post Office, and Foxbury Farm Shop.
