The UK banks should be forced to add transaction times to statements as well as the dates.
They juggle our money for their own benefit.
I recently transferred £700 from my savings account into my current account so I could pay a bill. I immediately then paid the bill through the instant payment function.
On receiving my statement it showed the £700 bill paid several hours before the money was transferred from my savings account. This meant my current account was overdrawn and hence will be charged interest.
Surely this is a fraudulent process, as no doubt the banks use our money by this method to invest and make money for themselves.
The whole banking system needs a complete and thorough overhaul of the way which banks are using its customers to their own ends. I always believed that banks were honest.
