I AM astonished to read that Jane Darke (Oxford Mail, December 8) complains that the Liberal Democrats are trying to discredit her over the decision not to build on the Headington car park.
At the time, as everyone was very concerned that this important facility next to Waitrose could be lost, Mick Haines joined those involved in collecting signatures to save it.
The only people active enough were the Lib Dems, local businesses and local residents.
As for a certain Labour activist, there was neither hide nor hair of her.
Could this be the ghost of Headington?
