A Witney-born designer is on the Design Museum’s long-list for its annual awards for his work on creating the London 2012 Olympic torch.
Former Oxford Brookes student Jay Osgerby designed the torch, set to visit Oxfordshire ahead of the games this year, with Edward Barber.
The torch appears on the long-list alongside the Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding dress and the Olympic velodrome.
Winners in seven different categories will be announced on April 24.
