In 1966, the film comedy The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming garnered four Academy Award nominations and proved a smash at the box office.
Today, in Oxford, it would appear to be true, with many of the most expensive city houses being snapped up by wealthy Russians.
Doubtless the word ‘oligarch’ is going to be the buzzword for 2012, with ‘caviar’ a close second.
