A 33-YEAR-OLD man is in a critical condition after he was stabbed in the abdomen five times.
The attack happened in Blackbird Leys last night.
Police were called to a house in Balfour Road by the ambulance service at 6.30pm after the victim was found.
He is in a stable but critical condition at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
Det Insp Mike Lynch, investigating the incident, said: “At this stage, we are treating this incident as a GBH with intent, but we have been unable to take an account from the victim yet and have no witnesses to what happened.
“A team of detectives are working to establish what happened in Balfour Road last night and I would urge anyone with any information about the incident or who saw any suspicious activity in the area to contact us.”
