BICESTER: A man who claimed his car had broken down assaulted a pensioner and stole cash after asking to use his phone.
He called at the house in Buckingham Road at 9.20pm on Monday.
When the occupant went to get his phone, the man forced his way in, held the OAP’s arm behind his back and took a “small amount” of cash. Police only released details yesterday.
Police said the man was white, about 25, 5ft 6ins, well built with short, very dark hair and wearing a dark-coloured fleece.
