OXFORD: City council officers are investigating whether the shark put on top of Posh Fish, in London Road, is legal or not.
The three metre-long fish was put up last weekend and has since been causing a stir in Headington – already home to the famous shark sculpture in New High Street.
Oxford City Council spokesman Annette Cunningham said officers would get in touch with the shop’s owners if planning permission or advertising consent was needed.
