OXON: A pensioner who stole a suitcase from a train was sentenced to 15 weeks in prison on Tuesday.
Pavel Acasandrei, 71, of no fixed address, was arrested at Charlbury railway station in January and pleaded guilty to theft on Friday, February 10, at Oxford Magistrates’ Court.
He also pleaded guilty to possession of an offensive weapon and another charge of theft after an incident in London last August.
