After reading your feature, ‘Hidden Army’ (Oxford Mail, April 6, I would just like to express my sincere thanks to all those volunteers who work behind the scene to help the repatriations of fallen service personnel to Oxfordshire run smoothly.
I could never have imagined all the hard work that these volunteers put in.
Having a son currently serving in Afghanistan, I hope I never have to call upon their services, but it is these unsung heroes who work so tirelessly to offer help and support before and on repatriation days who make me proud to be British.
