IN THE Oxford Mail (April 17) it is reported that “Vehicles are now banned from Kidlington High Street between Oxford Road and Watts Way from 10am-4.30pm. Blue badge holders, cyclists and deliveries can still use the road.”
On the same day of this piece, I was cycling in High Street when my way was blocked by a Community Support person.
When I pointed out that the no entry sign included the words ‘EXCEPT CYCLES’ I was subjected to a sustained, bullying tirade. The man continued shouting at me when I walked into High Street pushing my bike.
Please clarify the situation for the people of Kidlington.
