Sir – Bicester Village is a lovely shopping centre of high standards.
Unfortunately, the adjacent Tesco store is a disgrace externally, with dead shrubs, seating areas a disgrace with cigarette ends; lovely trees in planters withering for want of irrigating, and the roof area adjacent to Costa leaking every rainfall.
The whole thing is a disgrace for Tesco and it looks like the management have lost the plot.
The ex-chief executive would certainly not tolerate this mess at his stores.
Bicester Village owners should call Tesco to attend to this mess, and bring the area to the high standard of the Village.
