HOW are those fingernails? Oxford United face two tense weekends in the hope of keeping their play-off, and therefore promotion, dreams alive.
The club has launched its #oufcbelieve campaign, asking people to put up their distinctive yellow posters at their places of work.
Already there have been dozens of faithful U’s fans showing their true colours, including one at the Melbourne Cricket Ground and another in Afghanistan.
The Rev Peter Clark, a season-ticket holder who travels from his home in Gravesend, Kent, and has adopted the campaign, is most definitely a man of faith. It’s that kind of support that hopefully will make those heroes in yellow believe too.
