More than 25 cars have had tyres punctured in a spate of criminal damage over three nights in Bicester.

Vehicles in Orchard Way and Kennedy Road were targeted overnight on Tuesday, April 24, between 11.30pm and 5.30am.

The following night, cars parked in Blenheim Drive and Danes Road had tyres pierced, and, on Thursday night, vehicles in Bucknell Road and Market End Way were attacked.

Police believe the offender is using a small pointed instrument, such as a dart, to pierce the wall of the tyres.

PCSO Val Allen appealed for anyone who saw anything suspicious to come forward.

She said: “These incidents have happened overnight, with more than 25 victims of crime located in the Kings End and Highfield area of Bicester.

“Did you see anyone hanging around cars between 11.30pm and 5.30am?

“The neighbourhood team is investigating this series of crimes and the suspect needs to be made aware this is a criminal offence and will be dealt with through the criminal justice system.

“This type of crime is not tolerated and is a huge expense as well as unnecessary inconvenience.”

Anyone with information should call the police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
