THE swimmer who disrupted this year’s university boat race has denied causing a public nuisance.
The annual contest was stopped after Trenton Oldfield was spotted in the water on April 7. The 36-year-old of Myrdle Street, East London, appeared at Isleworth Crown Court in West London yesterday.
He was released on bail to stand trial on September 24.
