A man who allegedly imprisoned a former nun and broke her nose has appeared in court.
Kojo Ritchie appeared at Oxford Crown Court yesterday charged with causing actual bodily harm, false imprisonment and two charges of criminal damage.
The 24-year-old is the adopted son of Helen House hospice founder Sister Frances Dominica, who was present in court.
Ritchie, pictured, who spoke only to confirm his name, did not enter a plea but waved and blew a kiss at Sister Frances.
The defendant, of Hambleside, Bicester, is accused of punching former nun Karen Hughes, a family friend, and holding her against her will.
Ritchie was remanded in custody to enter a plea on August 27.
