Harry Bingham gave up his job as a City banker more than ten years ago to write full-time, and now lives in west Oxfordshire. Having written half a dozen thrillers and several ‘how to write’ guides, he has just launched a new detective series.
Talking To the Dead (Orion, £12.99), published next Tuesday, features Cardiff-based DC Fiona Griffiths, a sleuth with a mysterious past which threatens to catch up with her as she pursues a double murderer. The author, son of the judge Lord Bingham, spent childhood holidays in Wales and says the character “came storming into my head”.
