A PEACEFUL weekend was had by thousands at a free festival in Nuneham Courtenay.
The Peace in the Park event at the 55-acre Nuneham Park estate featured attractions including live music and meditation.
Visitor Yvonne Green, from Kidlington, pictured left with Cathy Smewin, was returning for the second year.
She said: “It was good but it was such a shame about the weather, it was freezing. But I particularly enjoyed seeing the band Bliss. We also saw a vegetarian cooking demonstration which was very interesting and showed you the alternatives to meat.”
The festival was staged by the park’s Global Retreat Centre with the help of 250 volunteers.
