A CONSULTATION has been launched to seek residents’ views about a planned recycling centre in West Oxfordshire.
The district council hopes to convert the former council depot Greystones, on the outskirts of Chipping Norton, into a new centre.
It follows the closure of Dean Pit, near Chadlington, by Oxfordshire County Council as part of its cuts programme last September.
Drop-in consultations will be held at Chipping Norton Town Hall on Thursday, July 5, from 12pm to 8pm, Chipping Norton Leisure Centre on Saturday, July 7, from 9am to 1pm and The Corner House in Charlbury on Thursday, July 12, from 12pm to 8pm.
Staff will be on-hand to talk through the plan and answer questions.
For more information or to take part in the consultation, visit westoxon.gov.uk/greystones or call 01993 861420. The consultation will open on Monday, July 2, and close on Friday, July 20.
