A 26-year-old man has been cleared of rape. Nikolajs Fialovs was acquitted of rape, theft of a mobile phone and perverting the course of justice by jurors at Oxford Crown Court on Tuesday.
He was convicted of assaulting the same complainant by beating in Bicester on September 28.
Fialovs, of no fixed address, had served more than 250 days in custody awaiting trial and was given a 12-month conditional discharge.
