NOW that we have enjoyed a week of the Olympic Games and Great Britain has proved herself no slouch in collecting medals, may I ask why no bells, church, hand nor bicycle, were rung last week to mark the opening.
In fact, I cannot remember hearing church bells in Oxford for months, maybe years.
If there is a reason for Oxford not to celebrate the grand opening, it had better be a good one.
