A replica of a damaged statue which sat outside Oxford’s Radcliffe Infirmary is set to be approved by city council planners.
The 6ft half-man, half-fish Triton was removed for repairs last year as part of a redevelopment of the site by Oxford University .
But the cracks were found to be too great and the university pledged a £45,000 replacement.
