A plaque in honour of an Oxford Railway Station ticket barrier man who died earlier this year will be unveiled today.
Father-of-two Steve Cross, 38, worked on the barriers for eight years before he died suddenly at his home in Cowley in January.
Family, friends and former First Great Western colleagues will conduct a minute’s applause before a plaque – where Mr Cross stood checking tickets for the best of a decade – will be unveiled at noon.
