A MAN was hit over the head with a glass in a fight involving three people outside a Faringdon bar.
Thames Valley Police said the incident happened near Ruby Jacks, in Market Place, between 10.30pm and 11.30pm on Tuesday and involved two men and a woman.
The force added that it was believed one of the men was hit on the back of the head with a glass.
PC Robert Maris, of Faringdon neighbourhood policing team, said efforts were being made to trace the man, who was described as a white but tanned, in his early thirties, around 5ft 6ins, of small build and with short brown hair.
He would have had a cut on the back of his head, Mr Maris added.
He said: "We would also like to speak to the occupants of a small red car which was seen leaving the scene of the incident as they may have valuable information to help us with our enquiries.
“South and Vale is generally a safe place to live, work and visit.
"When these types of incidents happen we will work tirelessly with the support of our community to trace individuals and to prosecute them."
Those with information should call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
