Sir – Well done Oxfordshire County Council – more taxpayers’ money wasted. Is there anyone in your department who knows what a road is?
Junction 9 at Bicester used to have a dedicated lane from the A34 on to the M40. Now it’s all stop and causing more misery for motorists.
You have 44-tonne lorries that now have to stop. When the lights change they pull away, and because of their weight the lights are back on red and everything has to stop again.
The same on London Road in Headington – another waste of money.
If you ride a bike you are OK, but drive a car and you are an alien.
They spend millions on cycle tracks, but cyclists would rather cause traffic problems riding on the roads.
They should be fined if there is a cycle track and they don’t use it.
Why not resign and get some staff who are not biased against the motorist?
Now we have a 30mph speed restriction from Marston to Green Road. Well done again. What is next for us?
