Cost of half marathon
Sir – I should be interested to know the amount of the fee paid by GO2 (UK) LTD, the organisers of the event to compensate the city and its occupants for the complete closure of most key routes within the ring road.
In other words, did the council sell the rights it removed from its citizens, or did it just give them away to allow this company to make a commercial profit?
