Police close road following gas leak in Banbury
Police have closed a road near Banbury following what they described as a “major gas leak”.
Officers were called to Overthorpe Road in the town at 12.50pm and closed the road.
Thames Valley Police spokesman James Williams said no-one has been evacuated from the scene.
Southern Gas Networks engineers are at the scene to repair the leak.
