MORRIS Minors descended on Bicester Heritage yesterday as it celebrated its first Sunday Brunch Scramble of the year.

Brunch was served from 10.30am as people turned up to see exhibitions, including a display of Bugatti cars alongside the Morris Minors.

The museum’s specialists opened the doors for guests to meet the team who look after the vehicles and view the workshops and garages.

Morgan cars were also on show along with two Royal Air Force BE2e bi-planes and 20 other vintage aircraft.

Launton couple Stephen and Gail Linfoot were among the classic car owners who turned out for the event with their 1967 Morris Minor convertible.

Mr Linfoot, 50, said: “It was a really good day.

“This was the first time I had been — I did not know the place existed until two or three months ago.

“I was surprised at the amount of cars that were there.

“One of the organisers told me that there were 1,000 people there.

“It was great to see the Minors there and see some other owners.”
