THE basement of the former JJB Sports shop in the centre of Oxford will be converted into a restaurant.
The Strathclyde Pension Fund has been given planning permission to convert the Magdalen Street premises by Oxford City Council.
The firm has not revealed what type of restaurant is moving into the building but the application is for about 230 seats with a bar.
