A man has been arrested in connection with a suspected assault which took place in Oxford city centre last night.
Thames Valley Police said officers were called to Queen Street shortly after 6pm following reports that a 39-year-old man had been assaulted.
Force spokeswoman Connie Primmer said one man was taken to hospital with injuries that are thought not to be life-threatening.
She added: “A 29-year-old man from Stokenchurch in Buckinghamshire has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He has been bailed until December 14.”
